Tibet, Cheese and Yak Butter Tea

Does China had cheese? I was asked by my friend at work. I said, not as I am aware of. But I know Tibet has Cheese, yoghurt and the Yak Better Tea, su you cha (酥油茶; pinyin: sū yóu chá), that has butter and salt in the tea. My friend said he had that in New York City, and it was so delicious that he cannot stop eating it.

Yak is so cute.

Yaks still provide the best way to plow fields in Tibet.

In Tibet, yaks are decorated and honored by the families they are part of. Buddhism encourages respect for animals.

In Manali, India, Yaks are used for transport in the mountainous region.
